The Electric Picnic festival will take place from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August 2026 at Stradbally Hall, Stradbally, Co. Laois.

Campsites open at 2pm on Thursday, 27th August for Early Entry ticketholders.

Early Entry Passes are still available to purchase. Early Entry pass holders can enter the campsites from 14:00pm on Thursday 27th August. You must also have a valid Weekend Ticket.

Ticketmaster is the only official ticket agent for Electric Picnic. Ticketmaster resale is the only official resale platform to purchase Electric Picnic tickets.

Ticketmaster Kiosk Outlets, previously used to purchase physical tickets are no longer in operation.

• Certain items are not allowed within the arena or the campsites.
• You may be body and/or bag searched at the entrance, onsite or on leaving. Any item(s), which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon, or which may cause danger or disruption to any other persons at the event, will be confiscated. Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the arena or other parts of the site may be searched.
• All of the prohibited items must be surrendered or removed from site. Anyone refusing may face Eviction.
• Surrendered items will not be returned.
• Please also note that excessive amounts of food, cigarettes and alcohol may be refused entry to the site.
• There are no nicotine inhaling products (Vapes & Cigarettes) being sold at Electric Picnic this year.

No Glass Bottles Permitted

Glass is strictly prohibited across the entire Electric Picnic site, including the campsites. This means any alcohol in glass bottles must be decanted before you arrive. Refillable bottles of any size may be brought into the site, including plastic sports bottles. You are permitted to bring alcohol into the campsites only in amounts suitable for personal use.

There will be no decanting service available on site this year, so please come prepared. Glass bottles will be confiscated and as always, confiscated items will be destroyed.

There are drinking water taps on site, empty water/ reusable bottles are permitted as well as sealed unopened bottles.

Electric Picnic is a STRICTLY over 18’s event (with the exception of children aged 12 and under). Children aged 13-17 years old are not permitted to attend even when accompanied by an adult.

Children aged 12 and under do not need a ticket, but must be accompanied by a ticket holding parent or guardian at all times. See the Family section for more information.

We would recommend bringing ID as confirmation of your child’s age, a colour photocopy of a passport would be sufficient for this purpose.

Proof of age is required to gain entry to the event. Tickets will be deemed void when not accompanied by an acceptable proof of age. Acceptable forms of proof are: Passport, Garda Age Card, Driving Licence.

Disposable vapes are made of a mixed compound of materials which make them very difficult to recycle and hazardous to the environment if not disposed of correctly. Electric Picnic has taken the decision to add Single Use Disposable Vapes to the list of prohibited items, in order to protect the land the festival site is on.

Any single-use vapes found will be confiscated and not returned to customers.

Volunteers are the backbone of every festival and event, they provide essential support to all departments during the three phases of each show – build, live-event and take-down. From  helping the decor crew ahead of the event, helping in the campsite or supporting our AIR Hubs and info teams during the show ⭐🎪

So what are you waiting for?

Three Charging will be providing vending machines for power bank rentals in the Late Night Arena, Jimi Hendrix Campsite and the Samuel Beckett Campsite.

These vending machines will also be available at several AIR Hubs across the campsites. Check out your nearest AIR Hub for a Three Charging vending machine!

A Challenge 21 Policy will be in place for all alcohol and tobacco sales on site.

Please note that ID checks will be in place on entry to the festival and throughout the weekend. If you cannot present valid ID when asked by a member of staff during the event, you will be refused entry and/or evicted from the site.

Please bring the original document, as photocopies or images of ID will not be accepted.

We reserve the right to refuse admission without a refund if you cannot prove your age.

AIR Hubs are located across our campsites and the arena. AIR is an acronym for ASSISTANCE, INFORMATION & RESPONSE and we will be working with local community groups and charities to run these hubs for us, with the support of our safeguarding and welfare partners at the festival.

AIR Hubs act as information points for customers at the event, providing useful resources such as public maps, help maps and event posters!

There will be AIR Hubs located in the campsites and arena, meaning you will never be too far away from a friendly face or listening ear when at Electric Picnic. AIR Hubs in the campsites will also match the colour of the campsite bunting to easily identify which one you are at! AIR Hub staff are easily identifiable in yellow-branded AIR Hub jackets.

AIR Hubs will be open 24 hours in all campsites, from Thursday through to Monday until the campsites close.

AIR Hubs in the arena will be open during arena operating hours.

Charging and Wi-Fi are available at each AIR Hub across the event site!

Refillable non-glass bottles of any size may be brought into the site, including plastic sports bottles.

Free drinking water points are located throughout the campsites and arena, which can be found next to the toilet blocks.

Big Yellow Trucks are back this year, providing a trolley rental service at Electric Picnic!
They’re based in the Red and Yellow car parks.
Rental slots are €30 for 2 hours, to give you enough time to get from the car park to the campsite.

Big Yellow Trucks are JAM Card accredited — JAM means Just A Minute. Their crew will be receiving JAM Card training for this year’s festival, so if you need a little extra time or patience, just show your card.

All bars, food traders, and market traders will be operating as cashless only.

Lost and Found is located at the Jimi Hendrix Arena Entrance and will be available throughout the show.
