Smirnoff Sound Nation Returns to Electric Picnic with Its Biggest Chapter Yet

Smirnoff Sound Nation returns to Electric Picnic 2026 with its biggest activation to date, celebrating music, community, accessibility and emerging Irish talent at the Smirnoff Stage.

This year’s line-up is Smirnoff’s biggest ever, featuring global names including Armand Van Helden, Skepta and Sam Divine, alongside homegrown artists Shauna Dee, Onai and more. Saturday’s programme shines a spotlight on women shaping Ireland’s music scene with a female-heavy line-up.

A major highlight is The Residency, Smirnoff’s nationwide search for Ireland’s next emerging DJ. After attracting more than 300 entries, Limerick DJ Pinot G has been crowned the winner and will perform his biggest set yet on the Smirnoff Stage.

Smirnoff continues its support of Ireland’s creative communities through dedicated pop-up spaces for 35 Vintage, Babooshka Beauty, Dublin Independent Fashion Week & Human Collective Dance, while an exclusive limited-edition merchandise collection, designed in collaboration with Irish designer Seeking Judy, will be available only at Electric Picnic.

Accessibility remains central to the experience. Ten haptic suits return to the Smirnoff Stage, allowing Deaf and hard-of-hearing festivalgoers to experience live music through vibration, alongside a team of ISL performance sign language interpreters. Additional accessible features include wheelchair-friendly stages and platforms, Braille menus and sensory-friendly touchpoints, alongside ticket giveaways helping make the festival more inclusive for all.

Now in its third year at Electric Picnic, Smirnoff Sound Nation continues to champion the people, talent and communities shaping Ireland’s cultural landscape, creating unforgettable festival moments while ensuring more people can experience the power of live music together.

RED BULL

A new era for Terminus begins at Electric Picnic 2026, as Red Bull becomes presenting partner of the festival’s iconic dance music temple.

Red Bull x Terminus returns bigger and bolder with even more energy alongside three times more production transforming the 8,000-capacity arena. At the heart of the experience, the biggest indoor LED screen in Electric Picnic’s history takes centre stage, while a kinetic system of automated LED pillars descends from above, moving towards the dancefloor before rising overhead to create an ever-changing ceiling of light.

From day into night, expect an immersive world where sound, light, architecture and audience come together – all powered by some of the most exciting names in electronic and dance music.

Need to refuel before heading back to the dancefloor? Red Bull will be keeping EP energised all weekend, with a range of  Red Bull drinks available from Red Bull bars across the festival.
Follow the beacon beyond the Salty Dog woods and make the pilgrimage to Freetown’s towering temple of dance. Lose yourself beneath the lights, surrounded by 8,000 people moving as one.

Boots will return to Electric Picnic this August as the festival’s Official Health & Beauty Partner, bringing three activations to help you refresh, recharge and restock across the weekend!

The iconic Boots Beauty Box returns to Main Arena, offering complimentary make-up touch-ups from some of Boots’ best-known beauty brands.

Boots is also opening a pop-up store at Electric Picnic for the first time this year, stocking a range of festival essentials, from beauty and skincare to everyday health must-haves.

The Road Safety Authority is proud to be the official road safety partner of Electric Picnic. While you’re making the most of the weekend, we’re here to help you make the safe journey home too. If you’re driving, drop by the RSA in the Red, Yellow or Campervan car parks for a free breathalyser test. It’s a quick and easy safety check before you head home.
