BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Please read the below to make your arrival as seamless as possible:
- Family Campervan opens at 14:00 on Thursday 28th August. Entry to site will only be permitted to people with valid Family Weekend Tickets accompanied by a valid Family Campervan/Caravan pass. You must be accompanied by a child aged 12 or under to access this area.
- Your valid Family Campervan & Caravan vehicle pass must be clearly displayed in your vehicle.
*Please Note* Family Caravan ticketholders must have passes on both the towing vehicle and caravan.
- The vehicle pass is only valid when a mobile number has been entered into the white panel on the front of the hanger.
- All vehicles are subject to search upon entry, read the Campervan & Caravan Terms & Conditions for information on what you can and can’t bring to the Event.
- Each person within the vehicle must have a valid Family Weekend ticket and ONLY weekend ticket holders will be permitted into the campervan/caravan campsite.
- Please note that there will be no access to the Main Arena until 18:00 on Thursday 28th August. There will be toilets, showers and water points in the campsite.

The Family Campervan & Caravan Campsite is located off Timahoe Rd. It is accessed through the Stradbally GAA Club, via Oakglen Estate.

Please Note:
- Only 1 vehicle is permitted entry on a Campervan ticket. Additional vehicles must park in the public car parks.
- Campervans cannot be used as towing vehicles for caravans.
- Only 1 vehicle is permitted entry with a caravan.
- Camping is not permitted in the Campervan & Caravan fields.
FAMILY CAMPERVAN / CARAVAN TRAVEL ROUTING
Follow the official event routing below, these routes are part of the event’s Traffic Management Plan and will be prioritised by An Garda Síochána. Following google maps or satnav shortcuts will direct you down unsuitable roads and lead to delays in getting to the event.
ONLY CAMPERVANS/CARAVANS THAT ARE PROPERLY ACCREDITED WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE CAMPSITE.
From Dublin / North – M7 Southbound
- Family campervans / caravans on the M7 Southbound take the M9 to Junction 3, exiting right at the roundabout onto the N78 towards Athy.
- At roundabout just before Athy, take first left onto the Athy Distributor Road (Athy Ringroad). Follow the ring road and turn left to join the N78 on the otherside of Athy and continue towards Kilkenny.
- At the N78 / N80 Junction, turn right onto the N80 towards Stradbally.
- Follow the N80 to Court Square and turn left onto Timahoe Road.
- Follow signs for Family, turning left into Oakglen Estate and into the Stradbally GAA Club on the right-hand side.
From Limerick – M7 Motorway Northbound
- Family campervans / caravans follow the M7 Northbound and exit at Junction 16.
- Turn left onto the R445 (Rathbrennan) and travel to Bloomfield roundabout, taking the first exit onto the N80 to Stradbally.
- Continue through Stradbally to Court Square, turning right onto Timahoe Road.
- Follow signs for Family, turning left into Oakglen Estate and into the Stradbally GAA Club on the right-hand side.
From Cork – M8 Motorway Northbound
- Family campervans / caravans will follow the M8 and merge with the M7.
- Follow the M7 Northbound and exit at Junction 16.
- Turn left onto the R445 (Rathbrennan) and travel to Bloomfield roundabout, taking the first exit onto the N80 to Stradbally.
- Continue through Stradbally to Court Square, turning right onto Timahoe Road.
- Follow signs for Family, turning left into Oakglen Estate and into the Stradbally GAA Club on the right-hand side.
From the West – N80
- Family campervans / caravans will follow the N80 West through Mountmellick towards Portlaoise.
- At Fairgreen roundabout turn right onto the Portlaoise Ring Road.
- Continue for 3km to Mountrath Road / R445 and take a right.
- At the next roundabout take a left onto Fr Brown Avenue, continuing straight through the Fr Brown roundabout onto the Portlaoise South Circular Ringroad.
- At the O’Doran roundabout take the 2nd exit (straight) and continue until the N80.
- Turn right onto the N80 to Bloomfield roundabout, taking the 2nd exit (straight) towards Stradbally.
- Continue through Stradbally to Court Square, turning right onto Timahoe Road.
- Follow signs for Family, turning left into Oakglen Estate and into the Stradbally GAA Club on the right-hand side.
From South East – N80
- Family campervans / caravans take the N80 to Stradbally.
- At Court Square, turn right onto Timahoe Road.
- Follow signs for Family, turning left into Oakglen Estate and into the Stradbally GAA Club on the right-hand side.
GATE TIMES & WRISTBAND EXCHANGE
Once you arrive, head to the Family Gate Wristband Exchange to exchange your mobile ticket for your festival wristband.
Mobile signals can be unreliable at the festival. We recommend saving your mobile tickets to your phone’s wallet app before you arrive.
The Family Gate Wristband Exchange opening hours are as below; please ensure you exchange your ticket for a wristband within those operating hours.

Saturday 30th 09:00 – 18:00
Sunday 31st 09:00 – 16:00
Please make sure to get your festival wristband before leaving the campsite.
ENTRY TO THE EVENT SITE
The closest arena entrance is the Family Arena Entrance entertainment from 12:00 noon on Friday 29th August.
Access to the Late Night Arena for Thursday entertainment is from 18:00 via the Jimi Hendrix Arena Entrance.
CHILD REGISTRATION FORM
To provide and ensure a safe festival for you and your children, children aged 12 or under attending the festival may be registered before coming to the festival. This will enable the Event Organiser to contact Parents / Guardians.
*Please note* Parents/Guardians are permitted to bring up to two children on each festival ticket.
