BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Please read the below to make your arrival as seamless as possible:
- The General Campervan & Caravan campsite opens at 12 noon Wednesday 27th August.
- Your valid General Campervan & Caravan vehicle pass must be clearly displayed in your vehicle.
*Please Note* General Caravan ticketholders must have passes on both the towing vehicle and caravan.
- The vehicle pass is only valid when a mobile number has been entered into the white panel on the front of the hanger.
- Vehicle passes that have not been completed as required will be considered invalid and may be confiscated.
- All vehicles are subject to search upon entry, read the Campervan & Caravan Terms & Conditions for information on what you can and can’t bring to the Event.
- Each person within the vehicle must have a valid weekend ticket and ONLY weekend ticket holders will be permitted into the campervan/caravan campsite.
- Please note that there will be no access to the Main Arena until 18:00 on Thursday 28th August. There will be toilet facilities and water points in the campervan campsite. Access to Stradbally Town is via the Campervan Gate.

The General Campervan & Caravan Campsite is located off the N80.

Please Note:
- Only 1 vehicle is permitted entry on a Campervan ticket. Additional vehicles must park in the public car parks.
- Campervans cannot be used as towing vehicles for caravans.
- Only 1 vehicle is permitted entry with a caravan.
- Camping is not permitted in the Campervan & Caravan fields.
GENERAL CAMPERVAN / CARAVAN TRAVEL ROUTING
Follow the official event routing below, these routes are part of the event’s Traffic Management Plan and will be prioritised by An Garda Síochána. Following google maps or satnav shortcuts will direct you down unsuitable roads and lead to delays in getting to the event.
ONLY CAMPERVANS/CARAVANS THAT ARE PROPERLY ACCREDITED WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE CAMPSITE.
From Dublin – M7 Southbound
- Campervans / caravans will exit the M7 at Junction 17.
- Take the first exit onto the N77 towards Portlaoise.
- After 500m turn right onto Meelick Road, then continue straight.
- At the T-junction turn right onto the R426 and continue to the next T-junction.
- Turn left onto the R425 to Bloomfield Roundabout.
- Take the third exit onto the N80 towards Stradbally.
- Follow signs for Campervan / Caravan, turning right into the campsite before reaching Stradbally.
From Limerick – M7 NorthboundCampervans / caravans will exit the M7 at Junction 17.
- Turn right (third exit) onto the N77 towards Portlaoise.
- After 500m turn right onto Meelick Road, then continue straight.
- At the T-junction turn right onto the R426 and continue to the next T-junction.
- Turn left onto the R425 to Bloomfield Roundabout.
- Take the third exit onto the N80 towards Stradbally.
- Follow signs for Campervan / Caravan, turning right into the campsite before reaching Stradbally.
From Cork – M8 Northbound
- Campervans / caravans will continue on the M8 and merge with the M7, exiting at Junction 17.
- Take the first exit onto the N77 towards Portlaoise.
- After 500m turn right onto Meelick Road, then continue straight.
- At the T-junction turn right onto the R426 and continue to the next T-junction.
- Turn left onto the R425 to Bloomfield Roundabout.
- Take the third exit onto the N80 towards Stradbally.
- Follow signs for Campervan / Caravan, turning right into the campsite before reaching Stradbally.
From the West – N80
- Campervans / caravans will follow the N80 West through Mountmellick towards Portlaoise.
- At Fairgreen roundabout turn right onto the Portlaoise Ring Road.
- Continue for 3km to Mountrath Road / R445 and take a right.
- At the next roundabout take a left onto Fr Brown Avenue, continuing straight through the Fr Brown roundabout onto the Portlaoise South Circular Ringroad.
- At the O’Doran roundabout take the 2nd exit (straight) and continue until the N80.
- Turn right onto the N80 to Bloomfield roundabout, taking the 2nd exit (straight) towards Stradbally.
- Follow signs for Campervan / Caravan, turning right into the campsite before reaching Stradbally.
From South East – N80
- Campervans / caravans take the N80 to Stradbally.
- Continue through Stradbally towards Portlaoise.
- Follow signs for Campervan / Caravan, turning left into the campsite.
GATE TIMES & WRISTBAND EXCHANGE
Once you arrive, head to the Campervan Gate Wristband Exchange to exchange your mobile ticket for your festival wristband.
Mobile signals can be unreliable at the festival. We recommend saving your mobile tickets to your phone’s wallet app before you arrive.
The Campervan Gate Wristband Exchange opening hours are as below, please ensure you exchange your ticket for a wristband within those operating hours.
Wednesday 27th 12:00 – 21:00
Thursday 28th 10:00 – 21:00
Friday 29th 09:00 – 22:00
Saturday 30th 09:00 – 18:00
Sunday 31st 09:00 – 16:00
Please make sure to get your festival wristband before leaving the campervan campsite.
ENTRY TO THE EVENT SITE
The closest arena entrance is the Cosby Arena Entrance and will be open for entertainment from 18:00 – midnight on Thursday 28th August and from 12:00 noon on Friday 29th August.
Access to the general campsites is from 14:00 on Thursday 28th August.
