Shamzuri (Sham) Hanifa is a multi-award winning chef and broadcaster, and appears regularly on Irish tv. Sham runs My Kitchen in Carrick-on-Shannon, which he opened in 2022 to great critical acclaim, and which became the first ever County Roscommon restaurant to feature in The Sunday Times 100 Best Restaurants in Ireland. Sham also runs The Cottage Restaurant; is owner of Synergy Café; is Director and Chef Consultant for Buffalo Boy Steakhouse and Chef/Owner of the ‘Chef Sham Sauces’ range, all based in Carrick on Shannon.
