Röyksopp

Kings of Nordic electronica Röyksopp first came to worldwide attention with their first album "Melody A.M" standing out like the Northern Lights. The pair constantly break down labels with each release, but always keep a sound and warmth essentially Röyksopp.

From Melody A.M's chill out beginnings exemplified by releases like "Eple" and "Poor Leno", Fast forward to 2005's "The Understanding" with the haunting "What else is there?" featuring The Knife.

If their sonic arc wasn't wide enough this year's introspective album "Junior" (if only by nationality) is an A-list of Norwegian musical talent.
Guests as diverse as artist's Lykke Li, Robyn. As well as "Bel canto" lead Anneli Drecker and collaborative favourite Karin "The Knife" Dreijer Andersson back for a second slice.

With a back catalogue filled with bass heavy romanticism, haunting guest slots, analogue warmth, bizarre timbres, Royskopp's sound will translate into a live show as mysterious as their Aurora Borealis.
