Coming a long way geographically as well as musically Rodrigo y Gabriela are just as at home in Mexico city, busking on the streets of Dublin as entertaining the largest Electric audience.

They've been touring extensively in festivals both at home and abroad. The pair’s trademark fiercely acoustic sound and uncompromising musical vision at this stage is famous worldwide.

These Mexican guitar heroes match their individual talents together in an unrestricted way so as to build up an energy that leaves crowds breathless.

Nearly technically unmatched, playful, and emotive, working in the flamenco and folk vernaculars while reverberating with rock sensibilities. Check out their cover of Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" as a touch point.

After 2006's self titled tour the force the pair will be releasing a new album entitled "11:11" post Picnic so be prepared to hear everything in their back catalogue as well as some new gems…
