This time its dancehall and this time its personal. The tour record "Guns Don't Kill People, Lazers Do" itself was recorded at the legendary Tuff Gong studios in Jamaica itself, and is proving since its release in June to be one of the albums to define summer 2009.

Not to do anything by halves with cheek firmly filled with dancehall vibes and contributions from a who’s who in the scene. Enter "Major Lazer Soundsystem".

A homage, a nod to the Dancehall through a Switch/Diplo shaker producing an 80's inspired digital dancehall for today with both styles informing each other in a modern cross border exchange between Hip/hop electronica and modern dancehall.

All things electronic tend at times to filter so the blending of Switch's off the wall style and Diplo's lets do it attitude is bound to shake things up.

Please note that Switch will not be touring live with the Major Lazer Soundsystem show.
