Fleet Foxes

The amazing Fleet Foxes are Seattle’s latest world beating indie band, which came to the world's attention last year with the release of their debut full-length album "Fleet Foxes".

Signed to the prestigious Subpop label, the talented quintet specialise in ornate harmonic chamber folk/rock, which seems to take its inspiration from traditional folk, choral, and gospel songs from centuries as well as decades past, and is described by the band themselves as "baroque harmonic pop".

Their debut album is universally acknowledged as being among the very top albums to be released last year, making every significant list of best albums of 2008. It received four stars from Rolling Stone, who compared it to the likes of the Beach Boys, Animal Collective, and Crosby, Stills & Nash; a 9.0 out of 10 in a review by Pitchfork; and, along with their "Sun Giant" EP, was declared Pitchfork's number one album of 2008.
