Familiar with ESG? Proto-punk-funk combos ESG are one of the most widely sampled bands in history and with good reason. Why fix it if it's musical genius. This art-funk family consisting of the sisters Scroggins et al have been sampled by them all, everyone from Public Enemy to jazz pioneer Miles Davis, Wu Tang to the Beastie Boys.

Pop flavoured guitar and complex electro-funk rhythms all accompanied by ESG signature style of vocals and inventive percussion. They’ve been produced by the greats, Notably Martin Hannett of Joy Division.

This really is a family affair with the Scroggins daughters Chistelle and Nicole added to the bill. Prolific as ever this group show no signs of letting up and should funk up the Electric stage to no end.
