Efterklang

The name 'Efterklang' comes from the Danish word for remembrance or reverberation. Denmark's Efterklang will demonstrate exactly why they've earned that name when heard out of those Electric speakers.

They've been known to record in bathrooms, hallways, cathedralesque rooms but always after the right vibration. Critics say they're the best experimental indie act to come out of Northern Europe since Sigur Ros. Reverberations are made; writing, recording, producing and organising every element of their music, and performance from their Copenhagen bunker.

They themselves describe there work as music with no boundaries. Otherworldly pop songs intertwine multilayered vocals, electronically tinged rhythms and orchestral string arrangements. Whatever the ingredients Efterklang's body of sound carries a weight that goes majestically with the melody.
