Dinosaur Jr

Proto-grunge Dinosaur or Dinosaur Jnr as the became known were largely responsible for returning lead guitar to indie rock and, along with their peers the Pixies, they injected late-'80s alternative rock with monumental levels of pure guitar noise.

They became known for their subtle sonic innovations, freeform noise, weird detours and their lead singer Mascis trademark laconic wine. Their SST records albums laid the foundation for alternative rock's commercial breakthrough in the early '90s dragging the rock mainstream to them.

After a hiatus and reformed since 2005. The original members have delivered two albums which more than proved that this second go at the Dinosaur was well worth the wait. Finding the members far from extinct and forging on growing their sound. A sound that is utterly unique.
