Bell X1Indie rock stars Bell X1 are Paul Noonan, David Geraghty, and Dominic Phillips. Formed in 1999 from the ashes of their earlier incarnation Juniper, Bell X1 have gone on to become one of the most respected Irish indie acts of the decade. They are often compared with the likes of Coldplay, and early Radiohead, in acknowledgement of their skilful melodic song-writing, inventive arrangements, and colourful lyrics. The group's 2005 international breakthrough album "Flock" reached number 1 in the Irish charts, and went Platinum five times over. The impressive Kildare trio have spent much of the last two years translating their massive popularity at home into similar success across the pond. After signing to Yep Rock Records in the U.S., the guys re-released "Flock" in The States, where it established the band as a serious talent on the global scene. They have toured in America four times to ecstatic reception, and have performed on Letterman and Conan O’Brien, to name a few of their high profile appearances. The group's stateside profile was further enhanced when its songs were featured in such popular TV shows as The O.C., Grey's Anatomy and One Tree Hill. Bell X1's fourth studio album "Blue Lights On The Runway" was released in February this year. Web: www.bellx1.com LINEUP SUBJECT TO CHANGE |
