8 Ball are six long time friends and collaborators with a taste for experimental pop music, noise emitting machinery and the oddities of this life.
Festival appearances, Choice Music Award nominations and a Meteor Award later, Oxtober 2009 sees the release of 'With All Your Friends' which they worked on with with Ian Caple (Tricky, Tindersticks). Due to the nature of their live shows in which members regularly change roles,

8ball have an ever expanding backline which now includes drums, bass, electric guitars, acoustics, pianos, old synths, turntables, laptops, customised software, melodicas, harmonicas and 5 vocals... 8Ball have drawn comparisons with everyone from Spiritualized and the now defunct Beta Band, to Broken Social Scene and Animal Collective.
